MEC Electrical

MEC Electrical is a busy electrical contractor based in Whickham, working across Tyne and Wear. They needed a website that looked as professional and reliable as the work itself — and one built to be found by local customers.

The brief was about credibility and reach: a modern site that reassures, and a structure ready to rank for electrical work around Whickham and the wider area.

A contractor as busy as MEC can’t afford a website that undersells them. Theirs needed to do two jobs it wasn’t doing: signal quality instantly to someone comparing electricians, and be built so Google could actually surface it for local searches.

Without dedicated service pages, clear local targeting or proper measurement, the site couldn’t compete for the “electrician near me” and “electrician Whickham” searches that turn into booked jobs — and it gave the team no way to see what was working.

We built MEC a database-driven, conversion-tracked site on our publishing engine — fast, mobile-first and fully managed from the CRM.

We set it up for local search from the ground up: a clean structure ready for dedicated service pages, the right signals for Whickham and Tyne and Wear, and a Google Business Profile connection so reviews and the map listing work with the site. Click-to-call is always within reach, and conversion tracking is built in so MEC can see the calls and enquiries the site generates.

As the business grows, new services and areas can be added from the CRM in minutes — no rebuild, no waiting on a developer.
